Home Town Thanksgiving

The Monday night before Thanksgiving, our church, FBC, will feed the hungry.  We need help with preparing meals for, serving, and praying with the ones God brings to us.  Come and be a part of something bigger than yourself.

Wake-Up Weekend 2008

Okay...the weekend you've been waiting for is around the corner.  WakeUp Weekend 2009 - Rise, featuring The Robbie Seay Band and speaker, Chris Seay.  The cost is $60 per person and registration begins NOW!  Here is a look at the schedule and some of the great things planned for this incredible weekend...

Thursday - Kick-off in the FLC with dinner and concert

Friday - Begin arriving at homes at 6

Saturday - Recreation includes...paintabll, Mud Bowl, bowling, blow-ups.  Worship at the Civic Center, bonfires, lots of fun!

Sunday - head for home after church.

Invite a friend or two to join us and don't forget to register soon!

Souper Bowl of Caring

Utilizing Super Bowl weekend to mobilize youth to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities.

We will be collecting donations on and prior to Super Bowl Sunday and giving all proceeds to Lufkin's CISC.  Get involved!

Revolve Tour

Calling all girls!  Don't miss this exciting event just for you!  We will leave at 4PM on Friday, February 13 and return home Saturday night.  The cost is $75 per person plus meals.  Check it out at www.revolvetour.com!

OneDay Volunteer Training Event

 If you work with our student ministry we would like to invite you to a one day training event called YS OneDay, formally known as The Core.  The event is free but you will need to cover your own meals (2 max).  Please register by February 17, 2009.
